Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda Live Tweets Jay-Z Gig at SXSW
Jay-Z performed a special concert at the SXSW festival in Austin tonight that was live-streamed through YouTube as an Amex Sync Show. The setlist was determined mainly by requests made over Twitter, so the show was basically a nonstop hit parade featuring smashes like “Empire State of Mind,” “99 Problems,” “Dirt Off Your Shoulder,” “Izzo (H.O.V.A),” and “Big Pimpin'” alongside fan favorites like “Public Service Announcement,” “U Don’t Know,” “Lucifer” and “Glory,” the rapper’s tribute to his newborn daughter Blue Ivy.
Linkin Park‘s Mike Shinoda was on hand to live tweet the gig for Rolling Stone. Here are some highlights from Shinoda’s feed, including images and brief video clips shot with the rocker’s own phone.

That’s enough @RollingStone live-tweeting for me. Back to real life, and working on the @linkinpark album for summer 2012. #JAYZSyncShow
