Lil Boosie Indicted For Smuggling ‘Sizzurp’ Into Prison
Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie has been indicted for allegedly attempting to smuggle sizzurp, a drug cocktail that includes prescription codeine, into the Louisianna State Penitentiary at Angola, where he is locked up for drug and gun possession and is facing a first-degree murder charge.
The rapper was arrested in May along with Titus Franklin and Arthur Stewart, who have been accused of conspiring to introduce contraband into the penal institution. Investigators say the two men had made arrangements through an undercover agent to deliver the drug cocktail to Boosie in prison.
Lil Boosie faces minimal additional jail time for the smuggling charges, but prosecutors will continue to charge the rapper if he is suspected of breaking the law while incarcerated.
