Radiohead Announce New York Gigs
Radiohead have announced that they will play two concerts in New York City later this month, their first headlining shows since releasing their eighth album, The King of Limbs, earlier this year. The shows, at the Roseland Ballroom in Manhattan, will be held on September 28th and 29th and will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. ET on September 26th. There will be a strict two-tickets-per-household limit, and no paper tickets will be distributed prior to the event.

While Radiohead are in New York, they will also perform on the season premiere of Saturday Night Live on September 24th and film a special hour-long episode of the Colbert Report, in which the band will be interviewed and play multiple songs.
These two shows in New York will be Radiohead’s first public concerts since they played a surprise set at the Glastonbury festival in England back in June. The band played a one-off charity concert in Los Angeles in January of 2010, but have otherwise been off the road since the summer of 2009.
