Fox News Hosts Fire Back at Adam Levine
Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine still has not explained why he demanded that Fox News stop playing his band’s music on their “evil fucking channel” in a tweet yesterday, but television personalities from the network have fired back.
Fox News hosts Greg Gutfeld and Andy Levy both replied to the singer on Twitter, each mocking the “Dear Fox News” phrasing of Levine’s tweet. “Dear Adam, that’s not music,” wrote Gutfeld. Levine elaborated slightly in his tweet, writing “Dear @AdamLevine, don’t make crappy fucking music ever again. Thank you.”
While it’s easy to understand why both men would be defensive about the company that employs them, it seems like their real grievance is with whatever producer at the network decided to use Maroon 5 songs as bumper music in their broadcasts.
