Undeterred by the recent departure of their guitarist and drummer, Paramore have begun work on their fourth album, likely due out sometime by the end of this year.

Only a month after brothers Josh and Zac Farro exited the group on rather poor terms, singer Hayley Williams tweeted on Thursday that she has started writing lyrics for a demo penned by the band’s remaining guitarist Taylor York. She sounded very enthusiastic, writing: “I am so hopeful and motivated for the future!!”

Paramore have already hired two temporary members to replace the Farro brothers. Guitarist Justin York and drummer Josh Freese – a session drummer who has played with Guns N’ Roses, Nine Inch Nails and Devo – will join the band on their tour of South America beginning in February.
