Ghost BC Jam for the Devil in ‘Monstrance Clocks’ – Song Premiere
Spring normally brings flowers, life and warmth, but if that isn’t really your thing, Swedish metal rockers Ghost BC can provide a darker, more terrifying soundtrack to April. The mysterious rockers have been around since 2008, though they have managed to keep their identities completely secret, and they are set to release their second album Infestissumam on April 16th on Loma Vista Recordings.
Coachella 2013 Lineup: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phoenix, Blur, Stone Roses
The band’s new single, “Monstrance Clocks,” is a dark, satanic-themed metal track. It pairs a haunting organ with eerie lyrics and ends with a choir singing “Come together, together as one/ Come together for Lucifer’s son.” The metal riff, unrelenting drums and periodic bouts of electronica create a sound somewhere between Mastodon and Metallica, with a healthy dose of Swedish synth mixed in.
Ghost BC will begin their ‘Haze Over North America’ tour at Coachella on April 14th and will finish on May 19th in the Rock on the Range Festival in Columbus, Ohio.
