Justin Bieber’s Neighbor Claims Singer Made Threats
An argument between Justin Bieber and one of his neighbors resulted in a visit from sheriff’s deputies in Calabasas, California, yesterday morning when the neighbor claimed that Bieber had attacked and threatened him. No one was arrested, though Reuters reports that a police report alleging battery and threats has been filed and is under investigation.
The alleged confrontation began after Bieber flew home from a performance in Poland. A neighbor who came by to complain about parties at the pop star’s house while he was away exchanged words with Bieber, but no physical altercation took place, a source close to the singer told Reuters. Under California law, a misdemeanor battery charge can included any unwanted physical contact, including spitting.

“There have been allegations made against Mr. Bieber of battery and making threats,” Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, told The Associated Press.
Bieber’s rep didn’t respond to requests for comment, and the singer didn’t mention the supposed altercation online.
It’s the latest in a string of recent incidents involving Bieber, 19, who startled airport officials in Lodz, Poland, when he took off his shirt to pass through security before departing on a private plane. The singer this month also canceled one of two concerts in Portugal, fainted backstage during a performance in London, showed up two hours late to an earlier performance in London, marked what he called his “worst birthday” and got in a shouting match with paparazzi outside his hotel.
The singer’s next performance is scheduled for March 28th in Munich, Germany.
