Shania Up for More Dates
Having taken a three-year break from touring following the
monstrous success of 1999’s Come on Over, Shania Twain has
been back at it with a vengeance. The crossover country star
released Up! a year ago and began a long string of North
American dates in September that will wrap on December 20th in Las
Vegas.
And the shows keep coming: Twain will break briefly for the
holidays before kicking off a twenty-seven-date run on January 20th
in Helsinki. Her second North American itinerary will begin on
April 6th in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and stretch thirty-seven
dates into mid-June.
“I want this show to be a huge party,” Twain said earlier this
year. “The stage will be set up in a way that puts me in the middle
of my fans, which is right where I want to be.”
