News Roundup: Kanye Hosts Massive Party, Kim Gordon Performs in Paris
• Kanye West’s much improved second showing in Paris also featured an all-star front row: Azealia Banks, Alicia Keys, Sky Ferreira and P. Diddy all hit the show as well as its feverish afterparty, which featured performances from Banks, Big Sean, Waka Flocka Flame, Mos Def and Common.
• Now that she has captured the full attention of everyone from ‘Ye to Nicola Formichetti (Lady Gaga’s creative director, who also designs for Thierry Mugler, debuting a new Banks song at his menswear show), Azealia Banks is swiftly moving up the fashion ranks. • Right after speaking with Rolling Stone last week, Kim Gordon played an intimate set with new duo Body/Head in Paris to toast her collaboration with Surface to Air. Sadly, there were no signs of any other Sonic Youth members in sight.

• Another hair color update: after hosting SNL last weekend as a blonde, Lindsay Lohan is finally back to being a redhead. So far, the internet is in favor of her decision.
• Iconic designer Tommy Hilfiger will appear on “American Idol” as an image consultant starting next week.
• French firebrand Jean Paul Gaultier, who just presented his Fall 2012 collection in Paris, will also take on a unique consulting role as creative director for Diet Coke. Expect edgier bottle designs and ad concepts in the future. Gaultier is good at this: he masterminded an innovative Evian campaign years ago.
• At DSquared2, the salacious Milan label that always incites red carpet attention, makeup, hair and nails were inspired by the noir drama of Lana Del Rey.
