RISD graduates Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock founded the brand in 2003 and gained increading accolades as being a viable indie brand for the smart metropolitan woman. Many of their collections have carried an overt musical influence; they even launched their own riot grrrl-spirited fanzine earlier this year.
