Lady Gaga’s Holiday Workshop for Barneys Is Full of PG Trinkets
Next Monday evening, Lady Gaga officially unveils the full bizarre wonder of her upcoming holiday workshop project for Barneys New York. But for now, you can log onto gagasworkshop.com for an combo interactive experience and shopping preview that is imaginatively art-directed. For “The Twelve Days of Gaga,” an “advent style” countdown, one imaginative knicknack is revealed and made available for purchase each day leading to the grand opening. So far, the seven items revealed are primarily cheeky but PG stocking stuffers. No fabrications made from blood, meat, or phalluses have been spotted just yet. But the countdown is young!

The first gift unveiled, a $15 frosted cookie in Lady Gaga’s image, already appears to be popular, given its level of Facebook appreciation. Other reimagined childhood contrivances – a $25 light-up Yo-Yo, a bow-shaped Lollipop at the same price, and a $65 Gaga magnetic dress up set – suggest that the Workshop experience is going to amount to a kooky, harmless, and slightly pricey cakewalk through the pop icon’s toy box. Those down for a more daring and grown-up ride can opt out of the stocking stuffers altogether and go directly for the stocking – the “Black Stiletto” stocking, that is.
