Hot Stuff: Women Like Video Games Better than Sex
Women like video games more than sex, a new survey by Doritos finds.
Results of the study, which polled 2052 people, show that women who play online games actually like doing so more than taking a bath, shopping, working out and other activities, including making love. Findings also illustrate that just as many women play online games (49%) as men (50%).
Of these female gamers, 84% enjoy gaming as opposed to 70% that enjoy sexual activity, 75% who enjoy taking a bath, 71% who enjoy shopping and 62% who enjoy working out. Priorities aside, about 17% of female respondents, or roughly one in five women, also confess to playing online games in bed.
Data further indicates that women play online games for longer than men. Of the female fans polled, enthusiasts spend 23.1% of their time online gaming, as opposed to 22.3% for men.
Moral of the story: If results are to be believed, for a sizable portion of today’s women, the joy of sex pales in comparison to a heated session of World of Warcraft or Bejeweled Blitz.
