Apple’s Steve Jobs’ Biography Gets Comic Book Treatment
Though official biography “iSteve: The Book of Jobs” is already a bestseller on Amazon, you needn’t wait until it ships in March 2012 to enjoy the story of Apple’s legendary frontman. Arriving August 24th from Bluewater Productions, new comic book bio “Steve Jobs: The Co-Founder of Apple” provides 32 pages of illustrated, graphic novel style background on the technology executive’s storied history.
Available for preorder for $3.99, the comic book is being written by C.W. Cooke and Chris Schmidt, and will include cover art by DC artist Joe Phillips. Profiling the man behind such innovative high-tech products as the iPod, iPad and iPhone, the volume follows on the heels of similar graphic novels chronicling celebrities such as Angelina Jolie and Lady Gaga. An earlier volume from Bluewater charting the rise of Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg sold out, indicating that the idea may not be as farfetched as it seems.
Readers interested in learning more about Steve Jobs’ biography will be able to buy the illustrated volume at comic shops, bookstores and online in the coming weeks.
