Conan O’Brien will invade Comic-Con when he becomes the first late-night host to broadcast his show from the famed San Diego convention – but you’ll have to wait until next summer, The Wrap reports. A year’s a long time to wait for Conan to take over Comic-Con, but this year you’ll be able to catch O’Brien outside his show when he hosts the MTV Movie Awards this Sunday at 9 p.m. EST. O’Brien announced the gig during an episode of Conan where he presented “some of the most prestigious awards an artist can receive”—an Oscar, a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, even a Nobel Peace Prize—before shoving them all off his desk and calling them garbage. “There’s only one award in the world that truly matters. I’m talking, of course, of the MTV Movie Award,” he said, brandishing the beautiful Golden Popcorn trophy.
