‘Full House’ Cast Reunites for Super Bowl Ad
Greek yogurt is everywhere you look these days, and Dannon has rounded up the cast of Full House to push the company’s own strained milk product, Oikos, during this year’s Super Bowl. “Oikos” means “house” in ancient Greek, so tapping Danny Tanner, Joey Gladstone and Uncle Jesse for the spot isn’t totally ridiculous – though the same can’t be said for the red footy pajamas that Dave Coulier sports in this teaser clip.
The quick video finds actor John Stamos wrapping up the big game before asking his housemates, Coulier and Bob Saget, if they’re ready to call it a night. When Saget asks if it’s time they all get their own places, they all respond with a resounding, “Nahhh.”

The Full House crew may not be the only group of Nineties sitcom stars reuniting for a Super Bowl commercial this year. Last week, Jerry Seinfeld, Jason Alexander and Larry David were spotted filming at New York City’s Tom’s Restaurant, which served as the facade for the Seinfeld cast’s regular haunt, Monk’s. Though production workers told the New York Daily News that they were filming a Super Bowl spot, neither David nor Seinfeld confirmed that the final product would air during the big game.
Aside from the possible Seinfeld reunion, Super Bowl weekend is still shaping up to be one of the most stacked yet, with a slew of concerts taking place around the New York area. The Foo Fighters, Zac Brown Band, Imagine Dragons, Fall Out Boy, Jake Owen and the Roots are set to perform throughout the weekend as part of the Bud Light Hotel’s festivities; meanwhile, the Black Keys, Band of Horses and John Legend will each play the Evenings with Legends concert series.
Of course, the biggest concert of the week, the Super Bowl halftime show, will be headlined by Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. (The latter will also play WFAN’s “Big Hello to Brooklyn” concert at the Barclays Center on February 1st.) This year’s Super Bowl will pit the Seattle Seahawks against the Denver Broncos at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey; the game kicks off February 2nd at 5:30 p.m. on Fox.
