Rihanna has matched a record set by Elvis Presley in the 1950s by scoring five number one singles in consecutive years on the U.K. pop chart. The singer’s latest U.K. Number One hit is “What’s My Name”; she previously topped the chart with 2010’s “Only Girl (in the World),” “Run This Town” with Jay-Z and Kanye West in 2009, “Take A Bow” in 2008 and “Umbrella” in 2007. Evanescence Begin Work on New Album
Evanescence have teamed up with U2 producer Steve Lillywhite for the group’s third album, due at some point in late 2011. Spotify, a music streaming service that’s currently only available in parts of Europe, will soon be available on portable Squeezebox players.
