Kanye Records Song for Jeezy, Plays “Superbad” Game of Connect Four During Tour Pitstops
Last week, we reviewed the opening stop for Kanye West and his Glow In The Dark Tour, featuring N.E.R.D., Lupe Fiasco and Rihanna. It turns out the only thing more interesting than the tour itself is how Kanye occupies his time while not on stage. Following the second night of the tour in Sacramento, California, West surprisingly booked two nights at freak-folk favorite The Hanger studio to work on a track for the upcoming Young Jeezy album. Following his time in Northern California, West and the gang traveled down to Los Angeles, playing a show at the city’s Nokia Theatre. Backstage, West was challenged to a game of his beloved Connect Four by Superbad star Jonah Hill, resulting in this video (and a sneak peak at the Kanye-commissioned remix of Lil Wayne’s chart-topping “Lollipop.”) West even managed to squeeze in time to sit courtside at the Staples Center to witness Kobe Bryant and the Lakers eviscerate the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night. Kanye and the gang file into Las Vegas for a concert tonight, but we doubt anything fun could possibly happen in Vegas. Kanye will probably just sit in his room and play Keno.
