Joe Jonas Plans ‘Sexier’ Sound for Solo Debut
Joe Jonas is striking out on his own for an album with a “more dangerous sound” than that of the Jonas Brothers, a rep for Hollywood Records tells E! News. Joe “is working with various writers and producers on music,” the rep said, adding that they are going for a “sexier, Justin Timberlake vibe.” The album is expected out on in early 2011.
Behind the Jonas Brothers’ World Tour
Joe’s solo move doesn’t come as a surprise: Earlier this year he told E! that he was writing songs, and given that Nick is the Jonas Brothers’ primary songwriter, it was assumed the tracks were for Joe’s own project. Joe’s younger brother Nick Jonas released a disc with his side band, the Administration, earlier this year. Solo albums aside, the Brothers have pledged that they will not be breaking up anytime soon.
