David Guetta Hires Pentagon Investigator to Bust Hackers
In an interview with BBC Radio 1, DJ and producer David Guetta revealed that he has hired an investigator who typically works with security for the Pentagon to crack down on hackers who had stolen and leaked his latest single.

“Where Them Girls At?,” a song featuring Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj, was lifted directly from the producer’s computer by hackers who broke into his studio’s password-protected wireless connection from a nearby car. After getting hold of the unfinished track, the hackers added their own touches and leaked it online. This forced Guetta’s hand, as he released a final version of the song ahead of schedule earlier this week.
As of yet, Guetta’s investigator has not cracked down on the culprits. The producer told the BBC that he could not stand to think that fans were judging the leaked, unauthorized version. “If you put a demo on the Net and people say it was the finished version, then they’re going to say it sucks. I really hate that,” he said.
