Bette Midler Sells Wardrobe for Charity
Bette Midler will be selling a collection of her costumes, jewelry, art and other belongings at a benefit auction in Beverly Hills on November 12th. The proceeds of the auction will go to the New York Restoration Project, a non-profit organization she created in 1995 to restored neglected public spaces in New York City.

The collection up for auction will include items from all four decades of Midler’s career in show business and will feature some of her most iconic costumes, such as her mermaid alter ego Delores DeLago, the dress she wore on the back cover of her 1972 debut album, The Divine Miss M, and the costume from her The Showgirl Must Go On concert series in Las Vegas from 2008-2010.
