Lil Wayne Working On “Dedication” and “Tha Carter” Sequels
Lil Wayne has returned to his ESPN blog with a massive, well-informed 1,600-word post detailing his love of Brett Favre, why his favorite team is the Green Bay Packers and not the New Orleans Saints and an in-depth look at “shoulder sprains.” Not like he needs a backup plan these days, but Weezy definitely has a future in sports journalism. So who does Wayne think will win this year’s World Series? “I close my eyes and I see the Tampa Bay Rays. I’m a big emotion guy. I’m a heart guy, and I think they all play that way,” Lil writes, adding that they’ll likely face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the finals because “You can’t put nothing past Manny [Ramirez]’s bat. You cannot beat him.” As for Weezy’s day job, he tells sports fans that he’s wrapping up Dedication 3 — his next mix tape with DJ Drama — and we can expect that “real soon.” Meanwhile, the huge North Carolina Tar Heels fan is already in the studio working on Tha Carter 4.
