Radiohead Recorded at Third Man, Jack White Confirms
In an interview with BBC Radio 6 Music, Jack White confirmed that Radiohead spent some time recording at his Third Man Studio in Nashville. White didn’t say much on the subject, noting that he was not involved.
“I don’t know how much to tell about it except that I didn’t play with them or produce it,” he said. “But they came and recorded at Third Man. I don’t know what else they want to be said about that, so that’s all I probably can say!”
During Radiohead’s epic 25-song headlining set at Bonaroo last month, frontman Thom Yorke dedicated “Supercollider” to White while hinting at a possible collaboration.
“This song is for Jack White,” said Yorke during the group’s set. “We’re not gonna tell you why, but you’ll find out.”
While it doesn’t look like an actual collaboration occurred, maybe a patented Third Man Blue Series single from Radiohead is on the horizon. Fingers crossed.
