Railroad Revival Tour With Willie Nelson, Band of Horses Canceled
Organizers of the second Railroad Revival Tour announced today that they have canceled the train-bound festival, which was set to feature Willie Nelson, Band of Horses and Jamey Johnson. The event was scheduled for eight shows across the country beginning October 20th at the Southeastern Railway Museum in Duluth, Georgia.
A vague statement was posted on the festival website this afternoon:
It is with extreme regret that we announce the cancellation of the 2012 Railroad Revival Tour. The decision to do so was a difficult one, but it was determined that certain complications would not permit us to host the shows in the manner intended, and that the bands and fans deserved.
The details of these conditions have yet to be disclosed. Refunds for all ticketholders will be processed by October 21st.
