Rihanna May Cancel Tour Dates Due to Poor Ticket Sales
According to the New York Post, ticket sales for Rihanna‘s Loud tour have been so poor that she is being advised by her manager Jay Brown to cancel her dates in the United States.

The Post‘s source says that sales were so low in major markets such as Boston that they could barely cover basic arena costs and lighting. So far, only 3,700 tickets to her show with Cee Lo Green at the T.D. Garden in Boston have been sold, well below the 15,000 tickets she would need to break even.

As of now, the tour is scheduled to begin as planned on June 4th in Baltimore, but it is likely that the scheduled dates will be downgraded to theaters and other smaller venues. The singer has faced problems filling arenas in the past — dates in Phoenix, Atlanta, Denver, Dallas and Indianapolis on her 2010 were canceled due to low sales.
