White Stripes March On
The White Stripes will release their fourth album,
Elephant, on April 15th. The duo, Jack and Meg White,
recorded the album at Toe Rag Studios in East London, using no
equipment that dated past 1963.
Jack White will appear in the upcoming movie Cold
Mountain, starring Nicole Kidman, Jude Law, Natalie Portman
and Renee Zellweger. White is also contributing songs to the
soundtrack of the film, which is based on Charles Frazier’s book of
the same name. The story follows a wounded Confederate soldier’s
odyssey from a hospital to his North Carolina home and the woman he
left behind.
