Stone Temple Pilots Cancel Rest of Tour
Stone Temple Pilots have postponed the remaining dates of their summer tour so that frontman Scott Weiland can be placed on immediate vocal rest. According to the band's Facebook page, the singer was ordered by his physician to rest upon discovering that his left vocal chord has scarring and his right vocal chord is tremendously inflamed. Weiland would run the risk of a vocal hemorrhage or permanent vocal damage if he were to continue on with the band's tour itinerary.

The band's concert in Concho, Oklahoma has already been rescheduled for November 5th. The other three canceled shows will be rescheduled soon, though refunds will be available.
