With celebrations scheduled in Las Vegas and Miami, Lil Wayne has big plans for his first weekend of freedom. But his first day out of jail was a private one with his family, judging by a tweet sent late Thursday (“With the family…..perfekto…..R.I.P. Huddy6…Harlem stand up!”). Two photos from yesterday have been made public: one of him leaving jail in a car and another of him sitting beside a computer. [MTV News]

Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer spoke hopefully about the band recording a new album, saying, “My brothers and I are destined to make another record in the next year or so. Country music songwriter Ronnie Scaife died Wednesday after suffering a brain hemorrhage at his Tennessee home. Jagger Supports Campaign to Save 100 Club
Mick Jagger has lent his support to the campaign to save London’s long-running 100 Club, a punk stronghold that is threatened with closure due to rising costs.
