Taylor Swift Cancels Shows Due to Bronchitis
Taylor Swift has been forced to postpone a run of shows on her summer tour after coming down with a case of bronchitis. The country star was told by her doctor to bow out of a July 2nd gig in Louisville, Kentucky, and has since dropped dates in Atlanta and Charlotte, North Carolina due to the persistent illness. As of now, the singer is expected to recover in time for a July 14th show in Montreal.

"It breaks my heart to miss out on this weekend's shows with my friends in Charlotte and Atlanta," Swift said in a statement. "I would never cancel if I thought I was physically able to perform these shows. I am so sorry to the fans, but I look forward to seeing you when we come back through your towns, which we will do." The Louisville show has already been rescheduled for October 11th and make-up dates for Atlanta and Charlotte are planned for October and November.
