Justin Bieber Paternity Suit Dropped
A paternity suit against Justin Bieber has been dropped. According to TMZ, Mariah Yeater and her attorneys have quietly withdrawn from the case, in which the 20-year-old had claimed that the 17-year-old pop star had fathered her 4-month-old son.
Bieber and his team had denied the claims, and promised to “vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to protect Justin and hold those involved with bringing this suit accountable for their actions.” The singer had agreed to take a paternity test to prove that the child was not his.
If Yeater’s allegations were proven to be true, police told the Associated Press that she could be investigated for statutory rape.
