Kanye to Release New Song Every Week
Kanye West has promised to release new music via Twitter at the end of every week this year, as part of a series he’s calling “G.O.O.D. Friday.” “I’m dropping one new song every weekend until Xmas. It may be my song, it may be a new [Jay-Z] song, etc.,” Kanye wrote.
Last Friday, Kanye shared the remix of his latest single “Power,” which features Jay-Z and Swizz Beatz and replaces the sample of King Crimson‘s “21st Century Schizoid Man” with one from “The Power,” by Snap! Kanye’s album, out November 16th, isn’t the only disc due this fall from West’s G.O.O.D. Music: Kid Cudi‘s Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager and Consequence’s ConTV are also expected, and West recently signed Clipse’s Pusha T to a G.O.O.D. Deal. Expect Kanye to share their songs, too. West’s remix of Justin Bieber‘s “Runaway Love” with Raekwon is also in the works. At this rate, we can hopefully expect another single from Kanye’s new album — which features contributions from indie-folk singer Bon Iver – very soon.
