Even though he”s still in solitary confinement at New York”s Rikers Island prison, Lil Wayne is finding controversy — or, at least, it”s finding him: A veteran officer was reportedly suspended for hanging out in the rapper”s cell, according to New York”s

Citing unnamed sources, the paper reported that a security camera caught Capt. Raphael Collazzo making an unexplained 45-minute visit to Wayne”s cell in solitary. The rapper was placed in isolation earlier this month after being caught with headphones and a charger for an MP3 player.

“We don’t know what he was doing. We know the camera picked him up,” a source said, adding that the officer”s explanation “did not suffice to explain the time he spent” with Wayne, who is expected to complete his one-year sentence for weapons possession on November 4.
Collazzo was suspended without pay for 10 days, agency spokeswoman Sharman Stein told the paper without elaborating.
He is the second guard to be penalized for alleged contact with Wayne: earlier this year Amelia Negron was terminated for allegedly making an unauthorized visit to the rapper, although she has contested the charge.
