T.I. Won’t Be Prosecuted for Drug Violation
Los Angeles prosecutors have opted not to pursue felony drug charges against T.I. following the rapper’s arrest last month, in which four Ecstasy pills were found in his vehicle during a traffic stop, CNN reports. The rapper, hwoever will begin an 11-month sentence on November 1 for violating his parole.
Due to the relatively small amount of drugs found in the search and the light sentence the charges would have carried, the deputy district attorney decided it wasn’t worth the taxpayer expense of flying T.I. from federal prison in Georgia to California next month to face the charges.

Prosecutors still have not decided whether to pursue charges against T.I.’s wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, who was also arrested September 1st and booked on drug charges.
