Tom Petty to Headline Isle of Wight Festival
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are set to play their first major show in the United Kingdom in 20 years at the Isle of Wight Festival in England on June 22nd. In addition to a headlining set from Petty, the festival will also include performances by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Elbow and Biffy Clyro.
Though Petty has been active on the road through much of the past two decades, he’s made only sporadic appearances in the U.K., where he hasn’t been quite as commercially successful as he has been in his native United States. This show will be their first-ever U.K. festival appearance.
