Stevie Wonder, Coldplay, Kanye Headline Austin City Limits
Stevie Wonder, Kanye West, Coldplay and Arcade Fire are set as headliners for the 10th annual Austin City Limits Festival, which will be held at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas September 16th-18th. My Morning Jacket, Fleet Foxes, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Iron and Wine, Cee Lo Green, TV on the Radio, Big Boi, Nas and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Bright Eyes, Santigold, Wild Beasts, Death From Above 1979, Broken Social Scene, Skrillex, Social Distortion, Marvis Staples, Chromeo and Randy Newman will also be featured on the bill.
Stevie Wonder‘s appearance at this year’s festival is quite a coup, as it is the only major headlining appearance on the legendary singer’s itinerary for 2011. (He is also set to appear at New York’s Apollo Theater as part of a Hall of Fame induction ceremony in June, and will perform with Rickey Minor’s Global Soul Revue at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl in July.)
