Coldplay to Release New Song on Friday
Coldplay are putting out a new song titled “Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall” on Friday. The track will stream on the band’s official site and be available for purchase as a digital single. Coldplay have already released the lyrics for the song, which includes the couplet “don’t want to see another generation drop / I’d rather be a comma than a full stop.” [Stereogum]
Cheryl Cole Bumped From British ‘X Factor’ Too
British pop singer Cheryl Cole, who was originally set to be a judge on the American version of Simon Cowell’s singing competition The X Factor but was dropped at the last minute in favor of Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger, has been let go from the U.K. version of the show as well.
