Michael Been of the 80s rock band The Call passed away yesterday after suffering a massive heart attack backstage at the Pukkelpop Festival in Belgium. Been was also the father of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club‘s Robert Turner, and served as a sound engineer for the band. [Spinner]

Madonna Sued Over “Material Girl” Clothing Line
Madonna has been sued by clothing company L.A. Triumphs, who claim that Madonna’s daughter Lourdes‘ fledgling clothing label Material Girl infringes on their copyright of “Material Girl” since they’ve been selling clothes under that moniker since 1997.
