Wilco, Smashing Pumpkins to Headline Neil Young’s Bridge School Benefit
Wilco, Cat Power, Death Cab for Cutie, Jack Johnson and school co-founder Neil Young will top the bill at this year’s Bridge School Benefit on October 25-26th at Mountain View, California’s Shoreline Amphitheatre. The above acts will all perform on both nights of benefit, with ZZ Top appearing as the first night’s special guest and the Smashing Pumpkins handling guest duties for night two. Young helped launched the Bridge School benefit in 1986. The school specializes in helping children with severe physical and speech impediments. Previous benefits have featured performances by Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Metallica, Bruce Springsteen and the Who.
