Nine Inch Nails Plan ‘Pretty Hate Machine‘ Reissue
Althought it’s one of the most influential albums of the late-Eighties, Nine Inch Nails’ Pretty Hate Machine has also long been one of the most difficult to purchase, due to legal conflicts with TVT Records. Trent Reznor has finally remastered his debut album, and will reissue it on November 22nd. “It’s been an interesting trip watching the fate of this record float from one set of hands to another (a long and depressing story) but it’s finally wound up in friendly territory, allowing us to polish it up a bit and present it to you now,” Reznor writes. “We had fun revisiting this old friend, hope you enjoy.” [nin.com]

Beastie Boys Announce ‘Hot Sauce Committee Pt. 2’ Track List
The Beastie Boys have revealed the track list for their upcoming album, Hot Sauce Committee Pt 2 — and it’s exactly the same as the reported track list for their “indefinitely delayed” Pt. 1. “I know it’s weird and confusing, but at least we can say unequivocally that Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 is coming out on time, which is more than I can say about Part 1, and really is all that matters in the end,” says Adam “MCA” Yauch. “We just kept working and working on various sequences for part 2, and after a year and half of spending days on end in the sequencing room trying out every possible combination, it finally became clear that this was the only way to make it work. Strange but true, the final sequence for Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 works best with all its songs replaced by the 16 tracks we originally had lined up in pretty much the same order we had them in for Hot Sauce Committee Part 1. So we’ve come full circle.” The trio also relaunched their official website. [Press Release]
