CSS Announce New Album
Brazilian dance rockers CSS will release their third album La Liberación on August 22nd. The record, which features collaborations with Ratatat, Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie and David Bowie pianist Mike Garson, will feature songs that the band recently debuted on tour with Sleigh Bells in the United States. Pulp Reissue Early Work
Recently reunited Britpop legends Pulp are about to release expanded reissues of their first three albums It, Freaks and Separations. The new pressings, which will hit stores in the U.K. on August 8th, will feature bonus tracks, new artwork and liner notes by critic Everett True. [Pitchfork]
Archers of Loaf Reissue Back Catalog
Merge Records is set to reissue all four albums by indie rock heroes Archers of Loaf beginning with a deluxe edition of the group’s 1993 debut Icky Mettle on August 2nd. The set will include non-album tracks, the entirety of the Archers of Loaf Vs. the Greatest of All Time EP and liner notes by critic Robert Christgau.
