Behind 3OH!3’s “Starstrukk” Video
3OH!3’s video for Want‘s second single “Starstrukk isn’t set to debut until Monday, but Rock Daily has an early sneak peek — a behind-the-scenes look at the Boulder, Colorado electrokids’ new clip. Named after the 303 area code of their home turf, 3OH!3 first made the pages of Rolling Stone last year when we named the duo, featuring beatmaker Nathaniel Motte and rapper-singer Sean Foreman, one of 2008’s Artists To Watch.
By the looks of just one day on set in Los Angeles, the video will feature throngs of girls in fluorescent wardrobe chasing around 3OH!3 and a large clothed orgy with construction workers, a marching band and copious amounts of whipped cream. The clip was directed by Steve O, who says the concept is a bunch of people getting clustered together until they eventually formed a massive dogpile. According to Foreman, “the video is looking awesome.”
