Phish Plan Fall Tour, Halloween Blowout
Phish just wrapped their summer tour last week, but they’re already announcing fall concert dates. After headlining Austin City Limits on October 8, they’ll continue the tour with a three-night stand at Broomfield, Colorado’s 1stBank Center, then work their way east, winding things up with three nights at Atlantic City, New Jersey’s Boardwalk Hall. The band will play their final, “very special” show on Halloween, where tradition suggests that they’ll wear a “musical costume” – i.e., perform another artist’s album in its entirety. On past Halloweens they’ve covered the Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main St., the Beatles’ White Album, the Velvet Underground’s Loaded, Talking Heads’ Remain in Light and the Who’s Quadrophenia.
