Britney Spears Sits Down For MTV Documentary
Britney Spears sat down with MTV for an in-depth interview as part of an upcoming For the Record documentary dedicated to the pop singer. The doc will air on November 30th, two days before the release of her new album Circus. “So much has gone on over the last couple of years and there’s a lot that people don’t know about me that I want them to know,” Spears said of the documentary. “I wanted to make this film because I started to feel like I wasn’t being seen in the light that I wanted to be seen in. This is an opportunity to set the record straight and talk about what I’ve been through and where I’m headed.”
The documentary will also include footage of Spears rehearsing, winning at the VMAs and shooting the video for her new single, “Womanizer.” The MTV preview includes Spears’ comments on the shaved head era: “I sit there and I look back. I’m a smart person, what the hell was I thinking?”
