Kanye West Recording Another New Album
Only two months after the release of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Kanye West has announced that he’s already at work on another solo record to be released sometime this summer.

West confirmed in a series of tweets yesterday that his collaboration with Jay-Z, Watch the Throne, will hit stores in March, and that his sixth solo album will be out in the summer. The rap auteur offered few hints about his new songs, but proclaimed on Twitter that the follow-up to the universally acclaimed record MBDTF will be “HIGH END RAP MUSIC.” (Kanye does love the caps lock button.)

Given the lavish production values on his previous albums, it’s hard to say what exactly “high end rap music” could entail, but it may involve some unexpected instrumentation. “I just threw some bassoon on this muthafucka,” West teased in a subsequent tweet.
