Tough Probation for T.I.
T.I. will be under some tough probation restrictions when he’s released from prison next year, according to TMZ.
Under the terms of his year-long probation, the rapper, who began serving an 11-month sentence for a parole violation early this month, will not be allowed to leave the Northern District of Georgia for anything but “verified employment within the United States.” In other words, he’s barred from leaving the country.
He is also forbidden from leaving the Northern District for more than seven days per month, and is prohibited from driving a vehicle, or owning firearms (the cause of his last prison term, from 2009 until earlier this year) or other dangerous weapons or devices.
Finally, he’ll have to take part in a drug-and-alcohol testing and treatment program “under the guidance and supervision of the United States probation officer and if able, contribute to the cost of services of such treatment.”
