Marilyn Manson Arraigned in Michigan
Marilyn Manson was arraigned on September 21st on a charge of sexual misconduct in Oakland County, Michigan. Manson (a.k.a. Brian Warner) was also charged with assault and battery stemming from a July incident in which he allegedly gyrated against the head of a security guard at a Detroit-area stop on the Ozzfest tour.
A warrant was issued for Manson in August, while he was out of the country. On Friday, his attorneys entered a not guilty plea on his behalf. The sexual misconduct charge is described by prosecutors as a “high misdemeanor,” which could result in a one-year prison term, while the assault and battery charge is a ninety-day misdemeanor.
A preliminary examination is scheduled for October 9th.
