Fight Club screenwriter Jim Uhls has signed on to pen Year Zero, Trent Reznor’s forthcoming HBO mini-series based on the 2007 Nine Inch Nails album of the same name. The Coen Bros. Plan Greenwich Village Folk Scene Flick
Ethan and Joel Coen are developing a script for a new movie loosely based on the life of Dave van Ronk, a central figure in the Greenwich Village folk scene of the Fifties and Sixties. The notoriously secretive brothers have not revealed anything about the film, much less have formally announced the project, but the movie is expected to tell the story of the Greenwich Village scene from the perspective of a van Ronk-like character. British Politician Found Dead at Glastonbury
According to the Guardian, Christopher Shale, British Prime Minister David Cameron’s constituency aide and leader of Oxfordshire-based Conservative group West Oxfordshire Conservative Association, was found dead in a portable toilet backstage at the Glastonbury festival.
