Drug Charges for Kim Mathers Guarini Busted in Texas
Kimberly Mathers, the ex-wife of rapper Eminem, pleaded innocent in a Michigan courtroom today to cocaine possession charges stemming from a June 10th arrest.
Mathers was arrested on Interstate 94 near St. Clair Shores, Michigan, and charged with unsafe driving, as well as driving with a suspended license. At the time of the arrest, police recovered two small plastic bags containing a “white powdery substance” from Mathers’ Cadillac. The substance was analyzed at the Michigan State Police Crime Laboratory in Sterling Heights, and confirmed to be cocaine.
Mathers was arrested and charged with cocaine possession in 2001, but was not convicted. If convicted of the new charge, Mathers could face up to five years in prison. She is due in court for a preliminary examination on September 9th.
