Big Boi Avoids Jail Time for Drug Charges
Rapper must donate to charity and undergo drug testing
Big Boi will not serve jail time as a result of his arrest on drug charges in Miami. The Outkast rapper appeared in a Miami courtroom earlier today as prosecutors outlined a deal in which he will pay $2000 in donations to charities and undergo three months of mandatory drug testing.
Big Boi was busted for possessing ecstasy (MDMA) and a cigarette roller with marijuana residue, detected by a K-9 dog when he was getting off a cruise ship in August. The rapper faced two felony charges, but if he remains drug-free through the testing period, those charges will be dismissed.
