The single most-played clip was Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” with over 20,000 plays, but Lady Gaga scored more big hits than anyone with “Bad Romance,” “Telephone” and “Alejandro” all landing in the network’s Top 10 videos. Swizz Beatz has released a new mixtape comprised entirely of mash-ups of his productions with the music of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti. The New Pornographers to Tour With the Walkmen
Canadian indie pop supergroup the New Pornographers have announced that they will be teaming up with winter-obsessed New York City rockers the Walkmen for a brief tour of the Midwest in April. The first of their dates together will be at the Vogue in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 22. [Pitchfork]
Jónsi Releases New Live Set
Sigur Rós frontman Jónsi just put out a concert album titled Go Live last year, but that has not stopped the Icelandic singer from releasing Jónsi Live at the Wiltern this week in the iTunes store.
