Brother Calls Michael Jackson Estate Executors ‘Criminals’
In an MSNBC interview with the Rev. Al Sharpton, Randy Jackson spoke out against the executors of the estate of his late brother Michael and attempted to clarify the situation regarding his mother Katherine Jackson’s absence. Randy noted that Katherine with her daughter, Stacy, and has been “playing cards every day” while resting under doctor’s orders. “She wasn’t doing too well so as her children that’s what we did,” he said.
Speaking on the recent reported altercation at Katherine’s home in Los Angeles County, Randy played down any tension within the family. “Yesterday we did go to the home to let Paris and Prince know they can visit with or talk to their grandma at any time. Because we felt that someone was trying to twist the story and make it feel as though we were the problem denying them access to their grandma,” he said. “When we got to the home we were kind of denied access to our own home by security . . . This is all an effort to deflect attention away from a letter that was written asking for the resignation of [executors] John Branca and John McClain.”
Randy Jackson continued to go after Branca and McClain, saying, “We feel there is criminal misconduct on their part,” and claiming the executors “falsified a document . . . Our brother Michael was not where they said he was on the date that the will was signed and did not, in fact, sign the will,” said Randy.
“This is not about being left out of a will or a fight over the children. This is about a family that has questions that has lost a family member and we feel that the evidence is right there plain as day,” he added. “My brother was not in Los Angeles on the day that they swore . . . that he was. He was in New York, so therefore the will is fake.”
Michael Jackson‘s nephew T.J. Jackson has also filed to gain temporary guardianship over Michael’s children, reports TMZ. The emergency hearing began earlier today and the judge is expected to deal with other Michael Jackson estate issues as well.
Over the weekend, Katherine Jackson was reported missing to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office after Michael Jackson’s children said they had been unable to contact her for a week. Many of Michael Jackson’s siblings have denied that Katherine is missing, instead saying she is resting, and the L.A. Country Sheriff’s Office closed the case earlier this week. But Paris Jackson continues to tweet for her grandmother’s return.
